Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee

The Gorlin Syndrome Alliance is advised by our Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee (MSAC), a group of experts who generously share their time and knowledge to support our mission.

Composed of physicians, researchers, and health care professionals, the MSAC helps guide the GSA in understanding and connecting with medical and scientific developments that may be relevant to the Gorlin syndrome community. The committee plays an important advisory role to our staff, Board of Directors, and community.

The MSAC’s contributions include:

  • Offering expert perspective on advances in research and clinical care.
  • Providing guidance in the GSA grant review process to support promising research.
  • Encouraging collaboration by identifying opportunities for scientific partnerships and new areas of study.
  • Contributing to the Physician Referral List, a directory of providers with experience in Gorlin syndrome.
  • Offering recommendations to help the GSA strengthen its role as a leading patient advocacy organization.

We are deeply grateful for the committee’s dedication, insight, and service.
